Hunters Furniture and its group of companies is looking for an experienced Controller to add to its team.
What we are looking for:
-Experience in bookkeeping
-Experience in Controller position
-Experience with Quickbooks system is a plus (we use the online version)
-Ability to work independently
-Excellent with numbers
-Detail-oriented
-Ability to do in-depth financial analysis
-Takes ownership of their work
-Proactive
What the job will entail:
-Daily transaction entries, from receipts, to customer sales orders, to supplier invoices
-Monthly reconciling of bank accounts and visa statements
-Emailing suppliers or staff, anyone you need information from
-Keeping in contact with our accountant about anything they require
-Providing monthly financial statements to management, along with in-depth analysis of financial activity
-Any and all work that is required for the financial management of the companies
