Prairie North Concrete is an expansion of HiCam Builders Ltd located in Nipawin, SK. We are excited to be expanding into the concrete pumping business to offer contractors in northern Saskatchewan exceptional service. We have an opportunity to join our team as a Concrete Pump Operator and invite you to apply.
Job Description:
- Drive pump unit to and from project
sites, set up pump, operate the pump
and clean out the pump at the end of
the job.
- Ensure the safety of all near the pump
operating
- Complete and submit inspections, job
tickets, daily maintenance and time
sheets
- Conduct routine light maintenance and
assist in other repairs/maintenance as
required
- Keep truck/pump unit clean and free of
concrete build up
- Have excellent interaction with our
customers and vendors
- Perform a variety of tasks and operate
other equipment as needed or required
when not pumping concrete.
Qualifications:
- Valid and clean class 3 drivers
license with air endorsement
- Experience running the concrete pump
truck is not a requirement as we will
be willing to train the right
individual.
- Strong mechanical abilities
- Physically fit (able to lift over 50
lbs)
- Able to multi-task and hold/maintain
composure in a busy environment
- Good customer service skills
- Willing to work flexible hours and
overtime
- Attention to safety is a must
- Knowledge of concrete mixes,
applications and requirements is not a
requirement but an asset.
- Knowledge of equipment and capable of
troubleshooting problems is an asset.
Wage:
$28 - $36 depending on experience
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Driver's Licence (Class 3 or D)
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
