Humboldt and District Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic and community orientated person to serve our job seekers in the Humboldt region. Responsibilities:
- Assist job seekers in obtaining employment opportunities using employment strategies and best practices.
- Assist job seekers with connections to community resources and benefits.
- Complete intakes; develop employment plans; develop relationships with employers; complete job analysis and job development; create resumes/cover letters, and provide job coaching and retention services.
- Provide on the job training for clients, including direct instruction on the performance of job duties in the work environment.
- Collaborate with youth, school-based teams, and families on the process of planning for student transitions.
The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, communication skills, a valid driver's license, and a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
Supported Employment Essentials and Best Practices Training will be provided.
This position is approximately 35 hours hours/week.
