The Position:
In support of the Vision, Mission and Values of LutherCare Communities, and with funding from Canada Summer Jobs, we are seeking a Summer Student - Activity Worker to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating and providing activities and entertainment for seniors and will work closely with the Resident Association, hosting and facilitating programs such as outings, entertainment, crafts, parties, etc. This position is located at Luther Riverside Terrace in Saskatoon.
The Applicants:
Applicants would typically have a grade 12 education and have a valid class 5 driver's license. Enrollment in a post-secondary program is preferred, Must have sufficient practical experience to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position and be physically able to perform duties outlined. Experience working with seniors is an asset. Applicants must have good interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and the ability to effectively deal with seniors. Applicants must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
