Are you passionate about empowering young people? Do you have a passion for the speech arts? Do you enjoy reasoned discussions and debates? SEDA is looking for energetic people to help us develop public speaking and debate programming.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and plan material for speech and debate workshops and tournaments
Develop materials and resources for our summer camp
Develop public speaking and debate guides for coaches and teachers
Develop relationships with various community organizations across the province
Plan and deliver virtual public speaking and debate workshops and classes.
Participate in feedback and reporting processes
Program Coordinators will be required to work from home. Some meetings may take place at our Saskatoon office, depending on public health guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum grade 12 education
Writing skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Digital skills - comfortable with technology
Leadership experience, and team oriented
Reliable and organized
Access to computer/laptop/tablet and internet connection
Speech or debate experience an asset
Successful criminal record and vulnerable sector check
This job is funded in part though the Canada Summer Jobs Program. To be eligible, applicants must:
Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and
