Description

JOB SUMMARY:  A position responsible for cataloguing and processing library materials and circulating division resources in a collaborative team environment. The Library Technician will also be responsible for providing support to schools as required.
A two year diploma from a recognized Library Technician course
Commitment to ideals and principles of Catholic education
Working knowledge of Destiny Automated Library System and word processing
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Technological aptitude
Successful related experience
Proficient cataloguing and processing skills
Knowledge of Resource Description and Access (RDA)
Ability to conduct inventories on site (school libraries)
Knowledge of how to repair and mend library materials
French
