Summer Student JobThe City of Warman invites applications for the Summer Fun Leaders positions (5 Full Time):
Provide leadership and guidance to the program participants through the ability to motivate, lead, guide and support childrens learning.
Effectively interact and supervise participants at all times, ensuring a physical and emotional safe environment.
Active facilitation & supervision of activity plans for youth development, health, physical activity, & cultural competency assigned by the Summer Program Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor.
Chaperone applicable field trips and special events.
Keep program areas organized and free of clutter. When finished for the day, clean all areas that have been used for the programs.
Ensure the health and safety of participants such as but not limited to promptly recording all injury and incidents and reporting them to your immediate supervisor.
Build strong relationships with children
Be enthusiastic and maintain a positive attitude
Maintain statistical information, as needed by Summer Program Supervisor.
It should be noted that the above duties are essential functions of the position, but other duties necessary to the overall enhancement of the Warman Summer Program may be required.
