Description

This role will be responsible for all aspects of Tourism Saskatoons digital marketing, channel management, traditional and social marketing strategies. You will provide leadership for our web and mobile site management, SEO/SEM, social media, and ensure digital strategies are driving referrals to our members and investing partners. You will work with our Marketing, Destination Innovation and Business Development teams to ensure we are aligning all marketing and communications initiatives in collaboration with our content specialist.

Core duties include:
- Google Analytics dashboard creation, analysis, and reporting.
- Launching and overseeing digital marketing campaigns and marketing techniques.
- Budget management.
- Work under pressure and within deadlines.
- Develop and sustain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.
- Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- Monitor SEO/SEM, marketing, and sales performance metrics to forecast trends and analyze data from associated platforms.
- Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost website performance.
- Keep up to date with Tourism Saskatoons audiences preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns.
- Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency.

Your credentials include:
- Completion of a degree in business, web design or digital marketing.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in digital marketing, preferably with a marketing agency and/or in the tourism and hospitality sector. A combination of experience and related post-secondary education will be considered.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).  
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, time and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal/people skills.
