Description

This position will support a student drop-in support center available to all Cumberland College students enrolled in ABE & PSE and will also be available to the public. The student support center will operate at the Melfort campus for 3 after-school/evening shifts per week. Support will be offered to ABE & PSE students who would like face-to-face support and a quiet place to work. It will also be offered to the public to support students who are registered in online secondary school courses. The expectation is that the qualified instructor will be able to support a variety of courses, with an anticipated higher uptake in math and science courses.

Required Qualifications:
- A four-year Bachelor of Education Degree and a Professional A Teaching Certificate, with a preference for a math or science major
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience, with a preference for experience in an adult setting.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check will be required.
