The Lighthouse Supported Living Inc. operates in Saskatoon and North Battleford providing emergency shelter, supported living, and affordable housing. Our vision is to build people up holistically with dignity, respect, and love.
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Lighthouse Serving the Battlefords is responsible for the oversight of all Lighthouse operations in North Battleford, including an emergency shelter program, managed alcohol program, CLSD partnership, and off-site housing programs. The Director will carry out the vision and mission of The Lighthouse in the Battlefords area. This position is a critical part of envisioning a brighter future for Battlefords vulnerable sector and supports the growth of programs and services.
The Director builds external relationships with stakeholders in the community, leads community engagement strategies and builds relationships with community agencies. The individual creates organizational capacity for supporting The Lighthouse clients and residents both internal and external. Director must be committed to The Lighthouses philosophies of care including Trauma Informed Care and Harm Reduction, and must ensure these are practiced by all employees. The Director works closely with the Shelter Manager in North Battleford and Human Resource Manager in Saskatoon to ensure appropriate staffing, and provides hands-on training, coaching, and support for team members.
