Job Order Detail

Description

Following is a generic list of job duties:
1. Interview, hire, and train new store employees involved in sales and supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
2. Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules/ roasters and monitor the performance of existing retail sales staff
3. Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise, authorize payments and the return of merchandise
4. Set up new vendors accounts and purchase merchandise at the best reasonable rates to maximize profit margins
5. Negotiate prices with the vendors
6. Troubleshoot very basic level of repair and property issues i.e. electrical, plumbing, equipment issues. Arrange a journeyman certified tradesman to repair the property emergency and preventative maintenance issues.
7. Perform managerial duties i.e. opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing, and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.
8. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
9. Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
10. Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage, and cleanliness etc.
11. Motivate sales staff to deliver excellent customer service, improve their efficiency, and meet sales quotas
12. Develop and maintain retail store budgets, monitor inventory levels and order new products as required
13. Process the payroll for supervisors, customer service representatives, cashiers, pump attendant etc.
