Description

The Executive Director, reporting to a volunteer Board of Directors, is responsible for the overall mgmt. &  leadership of the day-to-day activities of Sask Squash. This a part time position and the work will be completed remotely.

Some of the key responsibilities of this position are to:

Oversee and manage all accounting & budgeting functions on behalf of the association;
Ensure that all SaskSport funding requirements are met in a timely and complete manner;
Ensure that the website, membership database & provincial ranking system are maintained & promoted;
Work collaboratively with the Board Executive to ensure that the vision & goals of the association are met;
Provide timely & accurate information, updates and reports to the Board to ensure that all governance needs are met & that the
Board has the information they need to make informed decisions;
Monitor & liaise with all junior programs, leagues & grassroots programs with a focus to grow participation in the sport;
Oversee & coordinate the ongoing development of coaches & officials; and
Actively seek opportunities to promote the sport of squash.

The ideal candidate for this position will have;
Excellent organizational & administrative skills;
Budgeting &/or accounting experience;
Excellent verbal & written communication skills;  
Ability to work independently, be a self-starter & multi-task as priorities change;
Ability to establish effective, positive working relationships both  internally & externally to the association;
Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Suite, G Suite & website / social media would be an asset); and
4 + years of experience working with a non-profit or sport /recreation organization.
Knowledge of & participation in the game of squash would be an
asset.
