Summer Children's Program Coordinator

The Prince Albert Indian & Metis Friendship Centre is now taking applications for summer students for the months of July and August.
* 35 - 40  hours per week
* 8 - 10 weeks

Position Summary
The Program Coordinator reports to the Executive Director in the absence of the Centres Program Director.  The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of the Centre's summer program activities.  The position will assist the Program Director in overseeing the work of volunteers and setting up programs for children.

Job Requirements
-The ability to plan and organize your work without supervision is necessary
-The ability to oversee staff of two
-Will be responsible for all reports required
-Hours of work must be flexible as you may be required to work evenings and weekends.  This normally is Monday to Friday 9-5, however on occasion and dependent on excursion, you may be required to work on a weekend or early evening.
-Must have demonstrated skills in supervision
-Should have demonstrated skills in supervision
-VALID DRIVERS LICENCE is necessary (no restrictions)
-Good communication skills
-Ability to work with children


Qualifications
-Must have been in school prior to summer
-Must be going back to school in the fall
-Must be able to obtain a CLEAN CPIC
-Must be under 29
-Must be of METIS
-Must have a valid Driver's Licence
