Description

Medstead Central School  Vice Principal -This position is full time continuing, commencing with the start of the 2021-2022 school year. The successful applicant will demonstrate a desire to advance his/her leadership through a higher level of education and leadership experiences. It is considered an asset if candidates are qualified special education teachers. This is a permanent, full time 1 FTE position, to start with the 2021-2022 school year.

The successful candidate will possess dynamic leadership skills, be able to work effectively with students, staff and other administrators and will demonstrate a desire to advance his/her leadership through a higher level of education and leadership experiences. Living Sky School Division believes that school-based administrators play key roles in student success.  It will be important for candidates to be able to:
    Lead Learning (Instructional Leadership),
    Set Vision and Provide Direction,
    Secure Caring and Respectful Schools,
    Develop People and Build Relationships, and
    Strengthen the Educational Community (through working with parents and other agencies).

Candidates are required to possess a masters degree in Educational Administration or related discipline or be committed to completing post-graduate studies in an applicable field. Additionally, they must possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.
