The Rural Municipality of Chaplin No. 164 is currently looking for an independent contractor to perform the duties of PEST CONTROL OFFICER under The Pest Control Act.
Start date: As soon as possible
Applicants must:
hold a valid Structural Applicator Licence (Pesticide Licence) (or be willing to obtain one ASAP)
Possess a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers Licence
Supply their own vehicle
Ability to work independently and report to council if requested
The PCO will be required to fill out and submit Rat Infestation Reports. These are required as part of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural municipalities (SARM) Rat Control Program.
Interested candidates are invited to submit a bid containing expected hourly wage and travel rate per kilometer. Please include any qualifications and certifications (if available) as well as 2 work related references to:
