Job Description: The incumbent will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing services to patients receiving treatment in the Rehabilitation Centre at Saskatoon City Hospital. The focus of this program is to facilitate optimal independence for people who have temporary or permanent disability. The patients primarily present with neurological conditions. The incumbent will be a Ph.D. psychologist with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in the areas of assessing, treating, and providing consultation regarding the psychosocial factors related to physical and cognitive disability. Experience in behaviour management strategies and pain management is an asset. The incumbent provides direct clinical services to patients and families at the Rehabilitation Centre, primarily during their inpatient stay. In addition to direct service, the incumbent will provide consultation to interdisciplinary team members and will coordinate service provision with the Social Work team at the Rehabilitation Centre. The incumbent participates in program and policy development, and represents psychology both within and outside of the program. This position reports to the Manager of Interprofessional Practice.
Required Qualifications
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
Ph.D. Internship Training from an accredited training program
PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
