Description

This position is a Supervisory employee position and will implement the strategic goals and objectives of McLeod House. The Supervisor will report to the CEO and will adhere to and the CUMFIs policies. Will be responsible for the overall effective management functions for McLeod House. They will also provide direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its goals and objectives. The Supervisor must have two years of sobriety and a minimum of three years of experience in the human services field. Responsible for all staff and provide direct supervision. Prepare staff work schedules.  Schedule all in-house programming plus programming with other related agencies. quarterly written reports are to be sent to the CEO and forwarded to funders Organization and Management: Programs and services to members and participants. Property Management: Maintenance and Development. Report all maintenance issues to CUMFI Housing Department immediately. Code of Ethics: Confidentiality and respect of clients and staff. Planning and delivering workshops for clients in accordance to current needs. Evaluate the service delivery on a regular basis. Provide practical counselling and assistance with personal and/or family needs of residents. Assess needs of residents and maintain effective communication with relevant staff. Identify, monitor and respond to behaviours to ensure safety and a comfortable environment for residents. To be prepared to assess and respond to critical issues such as suicide, and mental health issues. Strong knowledge of Mtis and First Nations Cultures. Establishing liaison and relationships with outside service organizations for referral purposes. This position is Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Saturday and Sunday 8:00am to 8:00 pm and Mondays 8:00am to 4:30 am
