Job Description: As a member of the Quality & Safety Department, this position is accountable to the Manager, Patient Safety & Risk Management, for the provision of Quality Care Coordinator Services as mandated by the Ministry of Health, Government of Saskatchewan and the additional responsibilities of: participation in the Accreditation process, support and participation on the Continuous Safety & Quality Improvement Risk Management (CSQI-RM) Committee.

Required Qualifications:
Nursing Degree, diploma, or practical nursing diploma, or qualifications in a healthcare related field.
Eligibility for registration with the SRNA, RPNAS, or SALPN.
Alternate education and relevant experience may be considered.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of continuous quality improvement tools (LEAN).
Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable software programs e.g. Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must possess the ability to perform effectively both independently and within a team to develop sound working relationships with a variety of individuals and groups.
Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines.
Ability to provide Adult Education.
Ability to re-prioritize work and the ability to move between priority areas with ease.
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.


Geographic Location: Lloydminster
Expected Start Date: May 24, 2021
Expected Up To Date: March 31, 2022
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 1 week rotation: 5 shifts of 7.50 hours
