First Alliance Energy Services is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team on a part time basis. F.A.E.S. is a construction company with varied interests and activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a challenging position within a professional organization.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Bookkeeper is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, which includes financial reporting, maintenance of accounting system and records, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.
Must be legally able to work in Canada and currently reside in Canada.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting and payroll, preferably in the construction industry.
- Verbal and written communication.
- Flexibility in a fast paced construction environment.
- Proficient in Quick Books and ArcPay.
- Post secondary education.
- Strong computer use. MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.
- Highly organized and strong ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily work load.
- Working knowledge of PST and GST and all related CRA requirements.
Duties Will Include:
- Payroll.
- GL Maintenance.
- AP and AR.
- Record and pay supplier invoices while ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Duties may change as required by F.A.E.S. Management.
- Review supplier invoices and address any issues.
