AGI Envirotank is a Saskatchewan company that is a leading manufacturer of steel storage tanks. We are currently looking for a full-time Electrician.
Duties include:
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown & repairs
- Diagnosing & troubleshooting machine, hydraulic & pneumatics equipment
- Installing and relocating equipment
- Coordinating, working and providing periodic support to/with various departments
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
- Maintain, repair, install and test switch gears, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors, electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic control systems, etc.
- Maintain maintenance logs
- Installation, maintenance and calibration of industrial instrumentation, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preference of 3-5 years experience in similar position & work environment
- Use time available to organize and complete work within a given deadline
- Able to practice good housekeeping within all work areas
- Past experience working independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge and ability to work safely
- Ability to work on higher elevations (ladders & lifts)
REQUIREMENTS:
- must have valid driver's license with clean abstract
- must be willing to relocate
- must be a permanent Canadian resident
- must speak and read English fluently
