Description

ComIT is a not-for-profit charity that has been growing at a rapid pace. Located in more than 9 cities in 5 provinces and growing, we are looking to add a new member to our team to help more people find meaningful employment in the IT sector. We are looking for a tech-savvy, passionate Program Coordinator to join our team and help recode futures.

What you'll be doing:
-Working to achieve internal goals and metrics
-Connecting with company executives, students, employers and organizations to share about ComITs mission and programming
-Honing your attention to detail by working with students on resumes, cover letters, mock interviews and providing feedback on soft skills
-Researching market trends, connecting with companies and learning more about what programming languages are in demand
-Adapting to changing priorities, switching gears and working independently at a fast pace to meet deadlines
-Working to help foster and build a community that helps others and provides opportunities
-Speaking and hosting events, visiting courses (currently online)
-Be directly involved in the operational aspects of ComITs courses

-Experience with online tools
-Education, Experience or a Combination of both: Business, humanities or social sciences, technology is a bonus
