Service Desk Trainer

eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking an individual with strong technical knowledge and training methodologies of service desk procedures.  This is an integral role in our chain of care and were looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, and is able to provide guidance and developmental support to our Service Desk Analysts.  Through planning and the creation of eTraining modules, the Service Desk Trainer will be responsible for delivering ongoing training to all eHealth service desk analysts and Tier 2 support teams.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of a post-secondary (diploma or degree) program in Adult Education, supplemented with additional post-secondary education in Computer Science, or equivalent working experience as a Technical Trainer supplemented with a Professional Training Certification and ITIL Foundations Certification. Experience working in a health care setting is considered to be an asset.

What are we looking for?
ITIL service delivery concepts, with a focus on incident, service request, configuration, and change management;
Knowledge management and training methodologies;
IT systems such as : Active Directory, Citrix, Servers, and Cisco Network devices, LAN/WAN concepts;
Windows Operating Systems, Micro Soft Office Suite, and various off the shelf workstation software;
Printer and imaging hardware devices;
Incident, Change and Configuration Management Software; and
Service Level attainment process and concepts.
