DCG is expanding its team of skilled professionals & is looking for a Fund Development Associate with 2 - 5 years experience.
Candidates should possess the following key competencies:
    Passionate enthusiasm to make a difference
    Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills to collaborate with client executive & staff, stakeholders, volunteers & DCG teammates with professionalism
    Superior communication skills both oral & written
    Experience in or willingness to learn the art of writing & communications for fundraising
    Dedication to & a keen eye for detail
    Flexibility & adeptness to prioritize & to move from one project to project as reqd
    Aptitude to undertake work independently, manage time, set priorities, & problem solve
    Adeptness to multi-task, when involved with more than one project concurrently
    Efficiency with technology: Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat; online research
    Willingness to learn & to have fun in a supportive team environment
Working closely with a Director or VP, the Fund Development Associate will be responsible to:
    Develop & implement project action plans
    Train & motivate project staff & volunteers
    Coordinate &/or participate in volunteer &/or solicitation meetings
    Identify, cultivate, solicit & steward donors as reqd
    Track volunteer solicitations, campaign pledges & gifts
    Develop &/or distribute project communication materials
    Produce project Board reports
    Prepare & submit monthly project expense reports
    Develop, track & implement donor recognition initiatives
    Plan, organize, facilitate & attend events as training sessions, donor cultivation gatherings, news conferences & campaign launches
    Other duties as required
The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience & qualifications, along with a benefits package.  The position may require some availability or engagement in early mornings, evenings & weekends, as well as the potential of occasional travel.
