The candidate will provide leadership and work instruction to a group of workers in order to complete a job.

The Red Seal Roofer is to:
Provides leadership and work instruction to a group of workers in order to complete a job. They are responsible for but not limited to supervising, ensuring safety of crew members, following OH&S guidelines, and ensuring that the crew remains productive and produces quality work.  


Provide leadership that results in a safe work culture.
Be responsible and accountable for the safety of themselves and other crew members.
Assist with coordination of the crew to produce quality work in a productive and safe manner.
Required to mentor and assist apprentice and labourer crew members, understand and consistently apply the Western Urethane policies.
Be accountable for following project plans, schedules, and ensuring work is conducted in a safe and productive manner.
Support an inclusive harassment free work culture and be accountable for the adherence to policies and procedures to ensure a respectful and inclusive work environment.
Be accountable for ensuring that the completed work meets Western Urethane and customer quality standards.
Assist in the repairing and completing documentation and reporting for Safety, Quality, and Production as required by Western Urethane and/or Customer/Job Requirements

Assist/complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Red Seal Roofing certification.
Extensive experience with SBS, PVC, TPO and EPDM roofing systems
Valid drivers license.
Valid certificates of training as required for materials, equipment, and various safety items



Preferred Skills
Well organized.
Strong written, oral communication, and effective listening skills.
Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality.
Knowledge in the roofing, insulating, and building envelope field.
