We are seeking a Field Service Technician for our Highway Division in Saskatchewan for this season. The work will be in Prince Albert and Frenchman Butte. Candidates local to Saskatchewan preferred.
What is the role?
Reporting to the Superintendent, the Service Technician will assist the Heavy-Duty Mechanic in maintaining and repairing equipment in the field. Responsibilities will include:
Operate and maintain single axle fuel truck.
Fill out and maintains NSC documentation and drivers logbook.
Communicates with site supervisors.
Records, monitors, and fills out dangerous goods documents for the transport of fuel from the fuel station or site tank to the equipment.
Records fuel usage for each machine on site.
Greases and checks fluids levels on all site equipment daily.
Maintains stock of filters and oil.
Changes and repairs tires as required on wobbly packers.
Keeps track of required maintenance on all types of equipment on site.
Changes and maintains stock of cutting edges and teeth for graders and loaders.
Helps set up and maintain truck scales.
Operates equipment as required.
What do we value?
3 or more years experience working as Field Service Technician.
Able to work rotational shift for extended period including weekends.
Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Reliable vehicle and clean drivers abstract
Successful candidate must be able to meet pre-employment requirements.
