Ghost Transportation Services is looking for an Inside sales Representative to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Freight Coordinator Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is part of the day to day operations of Ghost Transportation Services. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Friday.
Duties required include:
To meet the fast paced needs of our industry and our daily bookings.
Provide support within the dispatch group through concise decision making, data support and follow up.
Procurement of freight from clients through rate negotiations and superior customer service.
Procurement of assets/vendor movement through rate purchase agreements, negotiation.
Carrier and customer rate negotiations.
Work with both existing and new client base in both a customer service and inside sales requirement.
Make decisions based on current data, market and sales.
Internal system and data entry fulfillment and follow up.
Fast paced phone and email completion for daily trips and moves booked.
Follow up and internally attend to both clients and vendors.
Internal reporting to manager with report follow up seeking area growth.
Skills required
Exceptional communication experience and skill
Excellent Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and manipulation of data
Excellent Math and Problem Solving abilities
Professional Internal and External Customer Service skills
Ability to identify problems and help with thought out solutions
Demonstrated ability to use computer software and hardware
Organized
Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
Knowledge preferred
Understanding of proper/best routing of equipment
Understanding of rates, revenue maximization and cost minimization
Understanding of paper flow
Understanding of customer wants and needs as well as operational requirements
