Job Overview:
    Effectively communicating with technical and production staff
    Producing weldments to specification, using shop drawings and instructions
    Maintaining a safe and neat work environment

Requirements:
    Perform all welding operations
    Read and understand shop drawings and instructions
    Understand how to use and care for jigs
    Use hand power tools
    Recognize material sizes and specifications of raw and in-process product
    Accurately complete time records and work orders
    Be a positive team player
    Work with minimal supervision

Skills and Abilities:
    Ability to understand production machines such as mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses, forklift, overhead cranes, sanders and saws
    Ability to spot potential safety problems and recommend corrective action
    Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
    Physically and visually demanding work
    Decision making skills
    Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills in English
