General Maintenance
The General Maintenance role provides superior maintenance and repair care leading for an exceptional guest experience at the Coast Swift Current Hotel. A variety of duties related to the smooth upkeep and maintenance of the hotels operations on both the interior and exterior.  Qualifications for this career include skills such as mechanical aptitude, organization, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
You will report in to the General Manager and will work closely with Head of Housekeeping.
Duties as follows (but not limited to):
Performing general grounds keeping such as shovelling snow, lawn care, garbage disposal
Participating in routine fire & safety regulation checks
Repairing items such as toilets and heat pumps
Performing routine maintenance such as changing out light bulbs
Replacing fixtures such as sink taps or thermostats
Knowledge of boiler checks and different kinds of commercial heating or cooling systems would also be an asset
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
Professional attitude
Bondable
Basic English: written, verbal and reading comprehension
Detail-oriented
Good time management and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Previous maintenance experience an asset
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training an asset
*Physical mobility and stamina
The successful candidate should possess a strong attention to detail and have a proven, solid work ethic. Previous maintenance and troubleshooting experience is an asset. We are looking for a team member who can work Tuesday to Saturday 7:30am-4:00pm.
