Main Function
This positions main function is to perform various inspection techniques to ensure the manufacturing of quality products or finished machines
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and perform CQA Audits on finished machines/crates that are ready to be shipped to customers to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Conducts Audit Reviews to the whole team to comply with the Audit Schedule requirements.
- Conducts other special machine audits to facilitate EPV and OKTS as directed by management.
- Work from blueprints, tables, specifications, handbook formulas or data, and machine owner's manuals to audit a wide variety of machines as well as machined, welded, or formed parts, units, components, raw materials, castings, parts or supplies as directed in any company area.
- Checks assembly instructions and machine owner's manuals for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in the investigation and determination of root cause of quality issues and work with the team as required.
- Assists and works with QE in developing CQA Checklist and MRLs and other Inspection procedures for products/machines.
- Maintain required Audit and Buyoff records.
- Works and assists Quality Gate Inspectors to keep them calibrated on Standards and - Specifications by providing feedback on CQA Audit findings.
- Lead and/or assist in analyzing failure for root cause/severity/risk as required.
- Conducts machine buy-offs after rework to ensure that they meet Quality and Customer requirements.
- Assists in conducting sorts involving finished machines as required.
- Assist in training new CQA Auditors or Quality Gate Inspectors as required.
- Move machines as necessary in the performance of duties by using the tractor and ensures that Tractor, QA Mule, and QA Hospital are properly maintained.
