Job Responsibilities:
- Assist staff in providing shipping & receiving services and solutions
- Be responsible for ensuring seamless processing of all outgoing and incoming shipments
- Prepare and schedule shipments as assigned with different carriers/couriers
- Process all required paperwork and maintain accurate records for reporting and tracking purposes
- Verify receipts, sort and distribute incoming shipments
- Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items
- Problem solve for any cases of missing or late documents, shipments and deliveries
- Make pickups and deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned
- Perform equipment maintenance and other various duties throughout the shop as assigned
- Support fleet requirements as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with 1-2 years working experience in a Shipping & Receiving role
- A valid driver's license and a clean drivers abstract
- Online shipping, tracking and receiving experience utilizing FedEx, UPS, Purolator and DHL
- Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing for Canada-wide as well as international shipments
- Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office
- Physical fitness and mobility required to moving/lifting of shipments
