- Be available to call in on short notice
- Supervision of children
- Caring for the children's needs
- Supervision of a child with special needs
Qualifications:
- Must be enthusiastic, energetic, and enjoy working with children and engaging families
- A clear criminal record check

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Early Childhood Education Skills
- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
