This position is for the 2021-2022 School Term and will report to the Principal but with overall accountability to the Director of Lifelong Learning and Wellness. The primary aim is to provide education services on the Zagime Nation in which the youth can grow in the knowledge, love and practice of the First Nation Saulteaux Culture, in addition to the regular education program prescribed by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and Sakimay First Nations.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
1. Diligently and faithfully teach the students in the educational program assigned by the Principal.
2. Plan and organize the learning activities of the class with due regard to individual differences and needs of the student.
3. Cooperate with colleagues and Education Consultants with program development and teaching activities pertaining to school goals. Cooperate with supervision goals in undertaking professional and personal initiatives or activities intended or designed to enhance professional competence and status.
4. Maintain safety, and general discipline in the classroom and on-school premises.
