Description

Conducts regulatory inspections of organic operators, which include primarily farm operations and agricultural or food-based processors. Education and experience in the agricultural industry and/or food processing is required. Must be able to interact with the farm community. Strong communication and computer skills are required.
This position is based in our head office in Humboldt, SK, but must be willing to travel, mostly within the western provinces and be able to work with little supervision.
Training will be provided, but a basic understanding of the organic certification process, applicable standards and regulations will be beneficial. A farm background will be very helpful.
