The employee will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Town water distribution, waste water treatment and waste water collection systems, recording all activities associated with water distribution, wastewater collection and wastewater treatment and collecting samples, repair and maintain fire hydrants, as well as perform other related duties as assigned. Operating mowers, loaders and tractors are part of the day to day operation and will be a required skill. As a condition of employment, the individual is expected to work year-round in a variety of weather conditions and be physically aptitude to lift up to 50lbs. Employment will be 40 hours/week and candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends and respond to call-outs within a reasonable time frame.
The successful candidate must be willing to complete water distribution, waste water collection and waste water treatment collection certification Class 1. A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 drivers license (or equivalent). The employee must also have a Grade 12 high school certificate. Willing to take further training as the job requires.
