Description

This position will be for a full-time 1-Year Position for Maternity Relief and based out of Dundurn, Saskatchewan
The Administrative Assistant will report to the Administrator
The successful applicant will start approximately August 5, 2021.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

1.    Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with subscribers, fellow employees, board members and vendors/contractors.
2.    Ability to understand and follow verbal or simple written instructions.
3.    Maintain filing system
4.    Prepare and Reconcile deposits.
5.    Complete monthly payroll and reconcile for preparation of T4s.
6.    Prepare reports and all other Board meeting preparation.
7.    Prepare water bills, past due notices and shut off notices.
8.    Ensure all Subscriber accounts are paid and take collection action where necessary.
9.    Monitor and order office supplies.
11.    Any other duties as specified by the Administrator

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1.    Must have high school diploma or GED.
2.    Must have extensive computer knowledge
3.    Must possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers licence and own vehicle.
4.    Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and commitment.
5.    Must work with minimal supervision.
6.    Must agree to a security background check.
7.    Must be bondable.

ASSETS:

1.    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
2.    Working knowledge of Munisoft
3.    Working knowledge of ISC
4.    Familiar with accounting principles
5.    Possess good public-relations skills
