Position and Responsibilities
As a member of Camecos business technology services department (BTS) you will support server and storage infrastructure for the global enterprise and actively participate in technology related projects. As a technical specialist you will collaborate with BTS team members to resolve problems and create solutions to support users and business goals. You will gather and analyse requirements, plan tasks and dependencies, provide status reports and meet timelines to ensure a high level of success in delivering solutions. Most importantly, you have a tenacious and inquisitive attitude toward troubleshooting and solving problems.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with several technologies including, but not limited to:
PowerShell, Windows Server 2012, Active Directory, and Group Policies
Multi-Vendor hardware (Cisco UCS, Dell)
UNIX/LINUX environments
VMware vSphere
Multi Cloud (O365, Azure, Google) Architecture, design, and implementation
You will have the opportunity to work remotely in this position. There may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
Three to five years of professional IT experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting a large, multi-domain Active Directory environment
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Assets:
Current Microsoft Certification
Experience designing, implementing, or managing any of the software listed above
