Century West Disaster Restorations offers full-service insurance restoration contracting, 24/7 emergency response & renovation services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the general operations through the development of project schedules, budgets, client interactions, communications, material, sub-trades, change orders & all other administration related to a successful project completion.
Prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals & requirements. Prepares work to be estimated by gathering labour costs, material, time requirements, blueprints, specifications, & related documents.
Complete, interpret, review and approve survey work to confirm designs & contract quantities for payment, & prepare invoices & collect receivables.
Coordinate projects to ensure executed on time and budget, & delivered economically, efficiently and effectively, all within compliance of the required standard & specifications of the client.
Liaise with clients & representatives to ensure that a quality product is provided within a given timeline at a high level of service.
Work closely with Project Managers, Management, Clients, Safety & employees to ensure daily activities are carried out safely.
Ability to develop AutoCad drawings & working drawings for renovation projects would be considered an asset.
Qualifications:
Ideally candidates would have a post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or Architecture technology, Construction Management.
Minimum 5+ years of related senior administration and/or project coordination experience, ideally in a construction environment. An equivalent of education & experience will be considered.
Previous experience estimating is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel); willing to learn and work with in-house software programs any experience in Xactimate or Sage accounting would be an asset
Outstanding communication, relationship building & conflict resolution capabilities.
Valid Driver's Licence.
