Description

Southeast College, one of Saskatchewan's Top 100 employers, is currently recruiting for a Student Content Creator.

The driven and detail-oriented Student Content Creator will produce high-quality video, audio, and photo outputs for our multi-media digital repository. This position will focus on appealing to potential student interests by capturing  photos, creating audio and video footage of our campuses, our students, and our communities and will file content in an easy to find format for future use by the College.

The Student Content Creator will:
    Write, review, edit and update digital content for Southeast College websites and social media platforms
    Conduct research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter
    Assist with the design of promotional materials
    Use social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints and to promote initiatives
    Collaborate with internal departments to establish objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems related to content creation
    Monitor social media and website metrics
    Utilize SEO methods to increase site traffic
    Suggest new ways to promote College offerings and to reach consumers
    Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills
    Excellent verbal and communication skills
    An amicable, authoritative, and culturally aware disposition
    Identification with broader societal causes

Education and Experience
    Returning to school in the fall/winter of the 2021-22 school year
    Demonstrable experience with the recording of audio and video
    Tech-savvy with the most common social media platforms
    Preference will be given to those who can create content in Tagalog and/or Hindi
