Description

The Post-Secondary Instructor Aide is an in-scope position reporting to the University Coordinator.  The Instructor Aide will work as part of a team dedicated to the success of students registered in distance education modes of post-secondary programming.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Instructor Aide has diverse duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
    Promoting a positive learning environment
    Setting up and troubleshooting video conference equipment
    Reviewing and editing student papers
    Tutoring in various areas (individually or in group seminars)
    Invigilating exams
    Assisting with student registrations
    Monitoring and submitting student attendance to funding agencies
    Assisting the instructors as required and other duties as assigned
    Monitoring student activity and providing feedback to the supervisor
    Performing other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned to contribute to the success of student learning and a positive participation experience in College programs and activities
