Reporting to the Facilities Operations Manager/City Foreman the successful candidate will possess the following abilities:
Ability to maintain assigned public facilities and park areas in a clean, healthy and safe manner.
Ability to undertake the regular and special maintenance of all equipment needed to do the work.
Ability to maintain an accurate work record of the equipment and duties performed.
Ability to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained at a standard of care to ensure the safety of the employees and public.
To report immediately any problems of a safety or maintenance nature which could affect the operation of facilities.
To report immediately any problems with facility discipline or public concerns.
Take various courses that the City of Melfort deems necessary to improve knowledge and job performance.
Ability to understand and complete oral and written instructions with minimum supervision.
Other duties as assigned.
