The Role:
Responsible for counter sales, order picking, receiving sales orders from customers (via phone, email, outside sales, etc.)
Assist in preparing orders as needed if the warehouse is busy
Prepare sales and delivery quotes in conjunction with warehouse personnel
Follow-up on all quotes, deliveries, billing, and prepare documentation for returned customer material
Attend training and events/trade shows
Prepare all necessary documentation and reports as requested
The Ideal Candidate:
Post-secondary education and or relevant experience in sales/ marketing in related industries
Minimum 5 years of customer service / inside sales in mechanical/industrial pipe and fittings, fire protection, waterworks and/ or general plumbing
Attention to detail and accuracy
Superior interpersonal skills with a high degree of organization
Motivated self-starter who works with an entrepreneurial mindset
Intermediate level of computer proficiency (MS Office and other web-based applications)
Willingness to grow and improve upon previous technical knowledge
