Provides leadership, coaching, direction, and guidance in ensuring the responsibilities are being met in terms of the delivery of child and family services programs to a variety of stakeholders (i.e. Clients, foster parents, service providers, advocacy services, children in care, extended family members, parents).
Coordinate and participate in community planning initiatives through the use and delegation of community service providers, local first nation office and services, Board, and other organizations and programs.
Collaborates effectively with FLFN ICFS INC., Fishing Lake First Nation, FSIN, ISC, MSS, educational organizations, professional associations, and other government policy bodies.
BSW/BISW and RSW, through a recognized accredited university or experience equivalent to 5 years in a related field.
Sound knowledge of clinical theories in relation to child abuse/neglect, social, physical and the impact on children's social, emotional, and mental development.
Knowledge of Fishing Lake First Nations culture, values and traditions in parenting styles, values, and communication.
