Description

Since 1950, ASL PAVING has been providing quality road building and commercial paving services to cities, towns, and government agencies across Saskatchewan and is recognized as one of Canadas Best Managed Companies.  ASL PAVING LTD won its initial Best Managed award in 2017 and has successfully retained its status, becoming a Gold Standard winner in 2020.
Our Saskatoon division is currently accepting resumes for the position of Concrete Foreman.  This is a full-time seasonal position.

Required Qualifications
    Valid Drivers License Required.
    Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be required.
    Minimum 2 year experience with leading a forming and pouring crew.
    Knowledge of the City of Saskatoon and surrounding area an asset.
    Experience in forming, pouring and finishing flat concrete is an asset.
    Experience working with Circular formwork is an asset.
    Knowledge of safe operation of tools.
    Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
    Heavy lifting required.
    Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report directly to a concrete superintendent and lead a team of six to eight members.
    Forming flat walk, curb & gutter, and barrier curb.
    Operating equipment.
    Read and interpret grades and construction drawings.
    Must be able to work in a team.
    Good communication skills is a must.
