RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Prepare, cull & stock products in a manner that is appealing to customers and as directed by department manager.
2) Assist with ordering, handling, receiving & merchandising, inventory control, mark-down reports, claims to suppliers and follow up
3) Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and case temperatures
4) Adhere to the image checklist, merchandising standards, marketing efforts, value- added program, housekeeping and loss prevention.
5) Adhere to sanitation and safe food handling practices.
6) Assist with staff supervision and training employees
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a self-starter with good knowledge of the produce area, with high merchandising and customer service standards. The successful candidate will have the ability to organize and delegate, and demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive. Therefore, is subject to pre-employment Alcohol & Substance testing as a condition of employment. Averages 20-32 hours per week.
