The Organization:
Founded in 1955 as the Lutheran Sunset Home of Saskatoon, LutherCare Communities provides excellence in care, housing, and community services within a nurturing Christian environment.    

The Luther Special Care Home has 129 beds which are used to provide level 3 & 4 care. This includes a secure 49-bed Special Needs Unit for residents with cognitive impairment.

The Position:
- Environmental Services Workers provide a clean, sanitary and safe environment for clients/patients/residents, staff and visitors.
- Laundry Services Workers provide laundry related services to all departments and facilities for residents and staff.
Applicants must be available to work days, evenings and weekends.

The Applicants:
Applicants would typically qualify for this position with a minimum education of grade 10, basic computer skills and the ability to work independently. No previous experience is necessary. It may take six months on the job to become familiar with equipment and various cleaning product/equipment and district/facility/department policies and procedures.
