Description

The Yard Attendant/ Delivery Driver works under the direct supervision of the Branch Manager. The Yard Attendant is responsible for general duties in the yard including loading, unloading of company delivery vehicles, customer vehicles as well as maintaining the inventory in the yard. The delivery driver is responsible for delivery of products to customers both contractor and consumer. The driver is also responsible for maintaining proper records of loads for that vehicle.

Education & Experience
Experience with computer and web-based systems (e.g., email, web based applications, delivery/scheduling systems, online ordering systems, training)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledgeable about all products in the yard
Knowledgeable about all products
Ability to work independently, work as part of a team, take initiative, and demonstrate flexibility
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with co-workers, clients and customers
Ability to perform regular work duties that involve stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy products
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Be friendly, courteous and helpful to all customer and staff
Must be dependable, reliable, responsible and fulfill obligations

Other Position Requirements
A valid drivers license with a clean driving abstract
Drivers license meets the requirement for the vehicle
Able to lift and carry heavy products (50+ pounds/23 kilograms)
Able to work during adverse weather conditions
Overtime as required
