Description

The City of Warman is seeking to fill the full-time position of Executive Assistant/Communications Liaison.  Reporting directly to the Mayor, the Executive Assistant/Communications Liaison is responsible for providing executive and confidential support to Mayor and City Council. This position is also required to research, compile data, perform and oversee specific projects and programs as assigned. As a Communication Liaison, this position facilitates effective community engagement opportunities, oversees internal and external communications and brand strategy, and assists with advocacy and collaborative relationship building with relevant stakeholders, including municipalities, organizations and other levels of government.

A post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or public relations or a related field from a recognized institution is required together with minimum of three years related experience in a municipal government or public sector environment.
