Description

The Supervisor, Buildings manages and provides leadership to facilitate the development, implementation and management of corporate buildings throughout the province for SaskEnergy and TransGas. This includes ensuring planning, project delivery and building operations are completed safely, within approved budgets, on schedule and in accordance with municipal, provincial and federal codes, standards, specifications, regulations and accepted industry practices.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

- Architectural Building and Technology Diploma and/or;
- Eligible for membership with Saskatchewan Applied Science Technicians and Technologists (SASTT).
- Accreditation as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM from International Facility Management Association) or Facility Management Professional (FMP from International Facility Management Association) would be considered an asset.
- Four (4) years experience in building management and/or construction project management. Two (2) years practical experience in office design and space planning. Two (2) years practical experience with AutoCAD, word processing, spreadsheets, data base, presentation packages and scheduling applications.
- Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation and teamwork.
- Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.

A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
