Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Finance Business Partner will act as an advisor and strategic partner to internal business segments and a liaison to the Finance team.
This position is responsible for supporting all financial related activities for assigned business segment including proactively identifying how business decisions will affect accounting and financial reporting and vice versa and supporting business units in developing their portion of the MD&A, budgets and strategic plans.
The successful candidate will have a University degree in Business Administration or Commerce, and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered. It is preferable that the successful candidate holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and/or experience within a public company or public accounting firm with exposure to financial statements, tax and audit responsibilities.
