The Big River First Nation is seeking a Full Time Vice-Principal for Se-Se-Wa-Hum Highschool. The school year will commence on August 30th, 2021 and conclude on August 29th, 2022. The Vice-Principal alongside the Principal will provide leadership and administration to our Highschool Staff and Students in a manner that supports their continuing education and professional growth. Se-Se-Wa-Hum High School enrolment is approximately 381 Grade six to twelve Students.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed);
Masters Degree in Education preferred;
Minimum 5 years experience in Leadership role with a Teaching background;
Previous successful school administration experience would be considered an asset ;
A Valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate;
Ability to maintain Confidentiality;
Must have a Valid Drivers license;
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills;
Demonstrated organization and analytical skills;
Ability to work independently, as well as part of the teaching team;
Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with parents and colleagues;
Evidence of strong written and oral communication skills;
Cultural Competency;
Provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
